Privacy Policy

Last updated: 10/06/2026
Application: DBMaster

DBMaster is designed so your database connections remain stored on your own device. We do not sell your personal data and we do not share your connection credentials with third parties.

1. Application controller

This Privacy Policy describes how DBMaster collects, uses, protects, and retains information related to the use of the application and its associated services.

For privacy, support, or account deletion questions, you can write to: chcideas.support@gmail.com.

2. Information we collect

DBMaster may collect or process the following information, depending on the features you use:

3. Database connections and credentials

The connections you save in DBMaster, including host, port, user, password, SSL configuration, SSH data, and private key paths, are stored locally on your device so you can connect to your own databases.

DBMaster does not use those credentials to sell information, create advertising profiles, or share them with third parties. Credentials are used only so the application can start connections requested by you.

If you use remote connection features, SSH tunneling, local names, or connectivity through native system components, the information required to start the connection may be processed temporarily by the application itself on your device during the connection session.

4. Data from queried databases

DBMaster allows you to connect to databases owned by you or authorized by you. When browsing tables, running queries, viewing results, creating tables, editing records, or exporting information, the displayed data comes from the databases you choose to connect to.

DBMaster does not use that data for advertising and does not sell it. Results may be displayed on screen, exported to files, or used within the application according to the actions you perform.

5. Payments and subscriptions

DBMaster may offer plans, in-app purchases, subscriptions, or capacity upgrades. Purchases are processed through Google Play Billing. DBMaster may receive purchase identifiers, subscription status, purchased product, and data required to verify and activate the corresponding benefits.

We do not store full bank card data. Payment management is handled through Google Play.

6. Use of information

We use the collected information to:

7. Information sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information only in these cases:

8. Security

We apply reasonable measures to protect the information associated with your account and use of the service. Communications with our services are made through secure connections when applicable.

Your database connections are stored on your device. Even so, we recommend protecting your phone, tablet, or computer with a password, biometric lock, device encryption, and good security practices.

No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely infallible, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Data retention

We retain account data while you maintain an active account or while it is necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or maintain administrative records.

Locally saved connections remain on your device until you delete them from the application, clear the app data, or uninstall DBMaster, depending on your operating system behavior.

10. Account and data deletion

You may request account deletion by writing to chcideas.support@gmail.com or visiting the account deletion page: https://dbmaster.chcideas.com/delete-account.

When your account is deleted, data associated with it will be deleted or anonymized, except for data that must be retained for legal reasons, security, purchase audits, or abuse prevention.

Locally saved connections on your device must be deleted from the application itself or by clearing DBMaster local data in the operating system.

11. Device permissions

DBMaster may use device permissions or capabilities only when necessary for specific features, such as selecting private key files, saving exports, connecting to local networks, or accessing functions required to establish connections requested by the user.

12. Minors

DBMaster is intended for technical users, developers, administrators, and people who manage databases. It is not specifically directed to minors.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the application, legal requirements, or service improvements. The current version will be published on this page with its update date.
